1. Baba Budangiri

Baba Budangiri hill is the popular tourism spot in Chikmaglaur that tourists must visit that is renowned for its forest range. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Chikmagalur. Mullayanagiri is just 12 Km from Chikmagalaur. This peak is part of the Baba Budan Giri Hill Ranges. The height of Mullayanagiri is 6330 ft (1,930 meters) and it is regarded as the highest peak between Himalayas and Nilgiris.

3. Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary

Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is beautiful tourist destination located at a distance of 38 km northwest of Chikmagalur town. The sanctuary is nestled between Mullaianagiri, Hebbegiri, Gangegiri and Bababudangiri hills and has the tributaries like Somavahini, Thadabehalla and Odirayanahalla of the Bhadra River flowing through it.

4. Kudremukh

Kudremukh also spelled Kuduremukha is a mountain range and name of a peak located in Chikmagalur. The beautiful landscapes and scenery of Kurdremukh attracts many people and tourists to Chikmaglaur. There are dense forests around the town and wildlife spotting is popular even though the forest cover makes it difficult to spot animals.

5. Shringeri Sharadamba Temple

The Shringeri Sharadamba Temple is Famous temple in Chikmaglaur which attracts many tourists. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Sharada, the Goddess of ‘Knowledge’. This Hindu Advaita Mutt is one of the four of its kind established by Jagadguru Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Also known as ‘Dakshinamnaya Sharada Peetham’, the Mutt follows the teachings of ‘Yajur Veda’.

6. Annapoorneshwari Temple

Horanadu Annapoorneshwari Temple is located at a distance of 100 kilometers southwest from Chikmagalur, surrounded by forests and valleys. Horanadu surrounded by natural landscape, ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari. The temple was set up in 1973. The main deity of Annapoorna is made of gold and looks magnificent.
